The pickups were upgraded to Gibson 490 & 498 pickups along with upgraded electronics with coil tap.

The neck cracked and was repaired. If you look carefully you can see the cracks. It was not a complete break so the repair is strong. The repair was 4 years ago and still holding up. You can barely feel the cracks, the neck feels great. The guitar sounds great.

ESP/LTD Eclipse '87. This is a floor/demo model in excellent condition.

The LTD ’87 Series are faithful recreations of this set of instruments from ESP’s 1987 catalog. Unlike the current single-cutaway Eclipse shape, the original ESP Eclipse was based on the TE archtop shape, which is the basis of the LTD Eclipse ’87. This guitar offers neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and three-piece maple neck. The ’87 Series Eclipse models offer a set of Seymour Duncan ’59 (neck) and JB (bridge) pickup set (with original style bobbins and a push-pull control to split the coils), and a Floyd Rose-1000 locking tremolo.

This is a beautiful and rare 2011 Epiphone Nighthawk Custom Reissue. There are no issues with this guitar. Everything works perfectly. No scratchy pots, plenty of tones with the 5-way selector and pull pot. It plays really well with low action and it sounds great. There are no scratches or dents but it is a used 10 year old guitar so there may be very small light scuffs that are not visible in the photos and the hardware is a little tarnished but may be able to polish up.

In 1991, Kirk Hammett of Metallica came to ESP with a request for a new guitar with a single cutaway design, but with the features of his KH-2 guitar. Metallica’s graphic artist Pushead designed a spider graphic specifically for this new instrument. The KH-3 Spider was played by Kirk throughout the ’90s on tours supporting the legendary Black Album. After spending a number of years on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the original KH-3 was returned to ESP so we could reference it for this 30th Anniversary edition. The LTD Kirk Hammett Signature Series 30th Anniversary KH-3 Spider is a reissue of the original KH-3 model with a few upgrades. This guitar is less than a month old. It's so new it still has some of the protective sheeting on the pickups and plates. It plays and sounds great. It's a beautiful guitar.
